For the first day of your Costa Brava road-trip, head up to the pretty village of Cadaqués!

Nicknamed the “white village” for its beautifully white-painted buildings, the beauty of Cadaqués has been a source of inspiration for many artists: Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, Frederico Garcia Lorca and Marcel Duchamp. - The church of Santa Maria, for its superb view of the sea and the village of Cadaqués!

- The Natural Park of Cap de Creus, for unforgettable hikes!

For your second day on the Costa Brava, set off to discover the town of Roses!

🚐 📍Day 3: Empuriabrava
Let’s continue our itinerary in one of the Costa Brava’s most original destinations: the seaside resort of Empuriabrava!
🧐 Did you know? With its 30 km of canals, Empuriabrava is one of the world’s largest residential marinas. This has earned it the nickname of “Catalan Venice”.

- Discover the city’s canals by boat!
- The beaches: La Rina beach, Can Comes beach, Can Comes beach… there’s something for everyone!
- The Aiguamolls nature park, where you can observe over 300 different species of birds!
- The historic center of Castelló d’Empúries, just twenty minutes by bike from the seaside resort!
🚍 Where to park your motorhome? If you’re just passing through Empuriabrava, we recommend that you head for the free Empuriabrava parking. You can also stay at the magnificent La Laguna campsite, located right on the seafront!
🚐📍 Day 4: L’Escala
For the fourth day of our itinerary, we invite you to discover the beautiful town of l’Escala, one of the most touristy on the Costa Brava!
🧐 Did you know? Like many Catalan towns, l’Escala is known as an old fishing village. In fact, the anchovy is the town’s emblem, and there’s even a museum dedicated to it!
📸 Spotlights not to be missed
- The magnificent beaches that line L’Escala: Cala Montgo, Moll Grec beach and Riells beach!
- Les Planasses, a magical natural area combining dunes, pine forests and cliffs, located in the Montgrí natural park!
- The Tour de Montgo, a former defense tower against piracy, offers a magnificent view of L’Escala and the Bay of Roses!
- The Anchovy and Salt Museum (Museo de la Anchoa y de la Sal), to discover how anchovies are preserved!
🚍 Where to park your motorhome? There are several options for your stay at the stopover: you can choose to go to Lacus campsite, located close to the port and the town center. You can also park at the Punta Montgó parking (free of charge), to admire the beautiful views! Please note that you’ll need to bring chocks as the terrain is sloping 😉
🚐📍Day 5: Palamós
Let’s head for the legendary town of Palamós for our fifth day on the Costa Brava!
🧐 Did you know? Palamós shrimp is THE flagship product of the Costa Brava! In fact, Palamós prawns are distinguished by their bright red colour and sweet taste, very different from other prawns found in the Mediterranean Sea.

- The old town of Palamós, where you’ll find the charm of the Costa Brava!
- The Fishing Museum, to find out more about the history of fishing on the Costa Brava!
- Cala S’Alguer, a cove nestling in a heavenly setting!

- The Tossa Lighthouse, where you can visit the Centro de Interpretació dels Fars de la Mediterrània, to learn about the history of lighthouses in the Mediterranean!
- The Balcón Al Mar, a magnificent path offering splendid views of the Mediterranean!
- La Platja Gran, the perfect place to soak up the sun with the whole family!
- The ruins of Sant Vicenç church, from where you’ll also have an unbeatable view of Tossa de Mar!
🚍 Where can I park my motorhome? You can park at the Tossa de Mar parking, located on a dirt track. You can also stop off at the Tossa de Mar spot (free) with a magnificent view for a short break!
🚐📍Day 7: Blanes
Our route ends in Blanes, considered to be the gateway to the Costa Brava!
🧐 Did you know? In 2007, Blanes was the first coastal town to be awarded the “Family Tourism Destination” certificate, thanks to its high-quality services for tourists.

- S’Abanell Beach, the longest beach on the Costa Brava, stretching for 2.5 km!
- The Marimurtra Botanical Gardens, where you can admire over 4,000 species of plants and flowers!

- Sant Joan Castle, where you can admire the magnificent coastline!
- The port of Blanes, where you can watch the fish auction that takes place every afternoon!
