Öland Island is the second largest islands in Sweden and it offers many campsites and places to discover and visit. The climate on the island is really enjoyable from May to September ☀️ so let’s discover Öland Island ?
Öland Island is linked to the rest of Sweden by the Öland Bridge, a six kilometres long bridge. The island is situated in the Baltic Sea, and seems to have been inhabited fairly early in the history since many archeological evidence indicates people settled there from the Paleolithic era. The island was then a land for settlers during the early Stone Age and also during the Vicking Age. At that time, the island was linked to mainland Sweden by an ice bridge.
