For those who ever wanted to visit the Scottish Highlands, here is an itinerary proposal, with the things to see and visit but also the eleven campsites for the best road trip in Scotland?

We start our trip by the north east of Scotland, and you have to know that no matter where you are going in northern Scotland, landscapes on your way will always amaze you. You will want to stop everywhere on the road, and please do!
This is the preview of the trip :
We start by the John o’ Groats village, there the thing to see is the Duncansby Head lighthouse, this place is so peaceful. This landscape is a must in a trip to Scotland.
Then, let’s go to Durness, where you should absolutely go and see the beach, this beach is absolutely wonderful, and you might have it only for yourself?
Our next step in Lochinver, you should visit the village and then head up to Applecross. The landscapes you will see on the way are the best you will see in your life. You should stop at the Falls of Kirkaig.
You should also stop at Gairloch and at the Falconry before taking the road again to Applecross.
There are two things you should see in Applecross, the Heritage Centre and the Bealach na Ba Viewpoint.
Dornie, we are coming! The must to visit is the Eilean Donan Castle situated in a majestic scenery, this castle was built during the 6th century.
Heading the way to see the Loch Ness 🦑
The next stop in our trip in Cannich, situated just next to the Loch Ness and you should stop to see the Plodda Falls and also the Corrimony Chambered cairn old from 4,000 years.
The Loch Ness is a main attraction in Scotland, because of the imaginary creature supposedly living in the lake. You should definitely go around it and enjoy the variety of landscapes. There is a Loch Ness center and exhibition situated in our next step, Inverness.
Then, you definitely have to go to Bunchrew to see the Bunchrew House hotel.
On your way to our next step, Brora, stop at the Dunrobin Castle.
Our last step is Wick and there, you can to visit the Castle Sinclair Girnigoe.
