La Torche (France)
Located in Plomeur, Brittany, La Torche is undoubtedly one of the best-known surf spots in the region! Surfing competitions and other board sports are organised here all year round.

You can park your motorhome at the free Plomeur parking, ideally located to access the Pointe de la Torche. You can also stay at the Camping de la Torche.
Quiberon (France)
The Quiberon peninsula is another of Brittany’s surfing hotspots. To make the most of the waves, we recommend the Sainte-Barbe beach in Plouharnel, the Penthièvre isthmus or the Grande plage de Quiberon!

There are plenty of places to park your van or motorhome in Quiberon. We recommend the Laurence spot or the Sables Blancs service area.
Ile d’Oléron (France)
This wild island is full of great spots for beginners and experts alike! Don’t hesitate to head to the beaches of Verts-Bois, Plaisance, or Saint Trojan.

You can park at Camping la Gautrelle, located near the Gautrelle beach not far from Plaisance, or at the Taz spot, in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains.
Lacanau (France)
Now there’s a name surfers know and love! Lacanau is one of the most famous surf spots in France, thanks in particular to its international competition held every year, the Lacanau Pro.

We recommend Camping Yellow Village Les Grands Pins, ideally located by the beach, or the Lacanau parking (please note that overnight parking is not permitted)!
Hossegor (France)
Hossegor is reputed to be one of the best spots for surfing. In winter, waves can reach over eight metres! The town also hosts the famous Quiksilver Pro France event every year.

Stop off at the Camping-car Park Soorts-Hossegor area, where you’ll have access to all the essential services for your vehicle.
Biarritz (France)
Head for the Basque coast, to the surfing capital of Europe! Biarritz is recognised as one of the best places to surf in Europe and puts on a great show for spectators.

Don’t hesitate to park at Camping de Biarritz for maximum comfort, or at Spot Biarritz, located not far from the famous Côte des Basques beach.
Mundaka (Spain)
Located 36 km from Bilbao, the town of Mundaka is home to a world-famous surf spot. Every year, hundreds of surfers come to test themselves on its famous left wave.

You can choose to park at the Camping Portuondo or at the Mundaka Parking, which has a lovely view of the ocean.
Nazaré (Portugal)
If there’s one surfing spot you really shouldn’t miss, it’s Nazaré in Portugal! Its huge waves, which can reach heights of over 20 metres, attract surfers from all over the world and plenty of spectators.

You can park at the Nazaré Parking, located to the south of Nazaré beach, or at the Praia do Norte Parking.
Peniche (Portugal)
A popular spot in Portugal and Europe, it attracts surfers from all over the world every year! Supertubos beach is particularly popular for its tube-shaped waves. It’s also the venue for one of the world’s biggest surfing competitions, the MEO Rip Curl Pro.

Head for the beautiful Spot Peniche or the Cabo Carvoeiro Parking, where you’ll enjoy splendid ocean views.
Taghazout (Morocco)
Situated not far from Agadir, Taghazout is home to numerous surf spots. Spots such as La Source, Devils Rock and Killer Point have become popular with surfers from all over the world.

You can park at the Taghazout parking or at the Dietmar spot, located by the ocean.
Imsouane (Morocco)
1h30 from Taghazout is Imsouane, where you can surf very long waves and enjoy a magnificent environment. It’s a spot suitable for amateurs and experienced surfers alike!
